Today I went to the fabulous exhibition: ‘Beatles to Bowie: the 60s Exposed’ currently on at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle (previously at the National Portrait Gallery, London).
It’s a wonderful snapshot of the 60s, showcasing some iconic images, photography styles, fashions and a lovely peek into the history of popular music at that time.
However, one of the information cards references the Ballard of John and Yoko.
I now have a kind of warped image of mallards in Lennon specs perched on bollards.
Aside from this, do go, it’s well worth a visit.
